Grand Opening

Over 300 Guests Celebrated the Grand Opening of Paloma House in

St. Petersburg

If you joined us for our Grand Opening, we cant thank you enough. It's hard to put into words what that day meant to us. After months of dreaming, planning, painting walls, making hundreds of decisions, and pouring our hearts into every single detail, seeing more than 300 people walk through our doors was something we'll never forget. We spent so much time imagining what Paloma House would feel like once it was full of people. Watching kids run around the Playhouse, women introducing themselves over a spritz, families touring the property, and hearing conversations fill every room made us realize that this dream had officially become real. We are still smiling about it.

An Afternoon Inspired by the Amalfi Coast

Every detail of the Grand Opening reflected the inspiration behind Paloma House. We wanted guests to feel like they had stepped into a little piece of the Italian coast, where life slows down, conversations last a little longer, and gathering with the people around you is always worth celebrating. The space was filled with fresh lemons, vibrant florals, natural greenery, and warm coastal colors. Guests arrived in beautiful sundresses, enjoyed the Florida sunshine, and spent the afternoon exploring every corner of the property. One of the biggest highlights was our spritz bar. Guests sipped on refreshing Paloma Spritzes, classic Aperol Spritzes, and Limoncello Spritzes while strolling through the venue, meeting our team, and taking in the atmosphere. It was the perfect pairing for a warm afternoon and quickly became a favorite part of the celebration.

Incredible Food, Drinks, and Sweet Treats

No celebration is complete without great food, and our vendor team absolutely delivered. Guests enjoyed an incredible menu prepared by Amicis Catering + Cuisine, whose fresh and flavorful bites perfectly matched the Italian-inspired theme of the afternoon. Every dish encouraged guests to slow down, gather around the table, and enjoy time together. To finish the afternoon, Artistic Whisk created an assortment of beautiful desserts that were almost too pretty to eat. Their desserts added the perfect sweet touch and became one of the most photographed parts of the event. Throughout the day, the Boozie Pop Shop kept everyone refreshed with handcrafted cocktails while guests relaxed, mingled, and celebrated together.

Celebrating With Our Community

More than anything, what made the day special wasn't the décor or even the beautiful weather. It was the people. Friends reunited after months apart. Parents introduced themselves while their children played together. Couples wandered through the venue imagining future weddings. Expecting parents envisioned baby showers. Business owners connected with one another, and women discovered a space they immediately felt connected to. One of our favorite parts of the afternoon was watching people stay.

No one seemed to be in a hurry. Guests grabbed another spritz, sat on the patio, continued conversations, toured the property again, and simply enjoyed being together. That was exactly what we had hoped Paloma House would become from the very beginning—a place where people want to linger.

A Showcase of Incredible Local Businesses

Our Grand Opening was also an opportunity to highlight some of the incredibly talented local businesses we love working with. A heartfelt thank you to Just Wright Events, Sophie Natalie Photography, Mangata Media, Boozie Pop Shop, Amicis Catering + Cuisine, Artistic Whisk, Gabro Event Rentals, Socially Britt, Elliot James Bridal, and 2 Birds Events. Every detail they contributed helped transform our vision into reality, from the event design and rentals to the photography, content creation, catering, cocktails, and desserts. Supporting local businesses has always been important to us, and we're so grateful they chose to celebrate this milestone alongside us.

Thank You for Celebrating With Us

As the afternoon came to a close, we found ourselves looking around at every conversation happening throughout the property, every child playing, every family exploring the space, and every smile we passed. It reminded us why we wanted to host this celebration in the first place. Grand Opening Day wasn't simply about opening a building. It was about opening our doors to a community that has supported us from the very beginning. To everyone who attended, shared our excitement, posted about the event, introduced themselves, or simply spent part of their day celebrating with us, thank you. Your excitement, encouragement, and support made this day more special than we could have imagined.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone unforgettable, and we can't wait to create even more memories inside these walls.

Here's to the beginning of something beautiful.

With love,

Sophie & Melissa
