fitness without pressure

Fitness at Paloma House is designed to feel supportive, accessible, and human, not intimidating or performative.

This is not about fixing your body or keeping up with anyone else. It’s about moving, breathing, and reconnecting in ways that meet you exactly where you are.

Come as you are. Move how you can. Rest when you need.

What fitness feels like here

A fitness or yoga studio with a large leafy plant in front of a wallpapered wall, and two beige exercise mats on the floor.

Fitness at Paloma House is intentionally different from traditional fitness studios.

You’ll find:

  • A calm, welcoming environment with no mirrors and no pressure

  • Instructors who prioritize care, cues, and choice

  • Classes that honor real bodies and real life

  • Space to move slowly, gently, or with strength, depending on the day

Some days movement feels energizing. Other days it feels grounding.

Both are enough.

who fitness & movement is for

Fitness at Paloma House is for:

  • Women returning to movement after time away

  • Pregnant and postpartum women seeking supportive care

  • Women who feel intimidated by traditional fitness spaces

  • Anyone craving movement that feels regulating, not overwhelming

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to be strong. You don’t need to know what you’re doing.

You just need a body, and a willingness to show up.

our approach to movement

We believe fitness should support your nervous system, not stress it.

Movement offerings at Paloma House focus on:

  • Regulation over results

  • Care over correction

  • Strength built slowly and intentionally

  • Rest as a valid part of wellness

There is no expectation to push harder or perform. You are always invited to listen to your body.

fitness classes

Wellness and movement offerings may include:

  • Yoga and restorative movement

  • HIIT, Strength and functional fitness

  • Prenatal and postpartum support

  • Seasonal workshops and specialty classes

Offerings vary intentionally to support different seasons, bodies, and needs.

play care & real life

For parents, caring for yourself shouldn’t require being far from your child.
